This is seen with 3.10.6-0ubuntu1, current in trusty -proposed
Test case:
Upgrade to 3.10.6-0ubuntu1 or current when out of -proposed
Open synaptic, in the 'All' window scroll down & select a package for install
or re-install
What happens:
as soon as selection is made the window reset back to the top, (or very close
What should happen:
After selection window should remain at pre-selection location
