Public bug reported:
I get short freezes in screen when I turn dpm on. the nature of the
freeze is that only the display freezes, and sound and mouse and
keyboard movements are actually being done. I also tested fglrx, and
though less often, the freezes still happen there too. when I use the
open-source driver without radeon.dpm=1 kernel parameter everything
works perfectly fine, but the fan noise of the vga card is high. if you
need any more info please let me know.
