Giordano Battilana, as per
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/latitude-e6520 an update
is available for your BIOS (A18). If you update to this following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it
doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the
output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.

Thank you for your understanding.

   10de:0a3c [MASTER] [GT21x] X freeze/crash with nouveau driver

** Description changed:

- I enabled the Nouveau driver in my Ubuntu 13.10 and started using my
- laptop.
+ I enabled the Nouveau driver in my Ubuntu 13.10 and started using my laptop.
After I used it for few minutes (3-4 minutes) the system froze. Only the mouse
was working.
+ After about 1 minute the mouse cursor stopped responding as well, leaving me
with a 100% frozen laptop. I couldn't even switch to a console (Alt + F1) and
reboot gracefully. I had to do an hard reboot. The problem arises every time I
start my pc, I can only use it for few minutes. The mouse cursor is always the
last to freeze.
