I'm still seeing this issue with a current Ubuntu 12.04.3 (unity
5.20.0-0ubuntu2 and compiz 1:0.9.7.12-0ubuntu3).
Some additional information that I didn't see provided earlier:
- After locking screen, in addition to seeing the Unity launcher bar, I
can also still see any windows I've set as "Always on Top"
- When screen is unlocked, I can't see *anything* on top of windows marked
"Always on Top". This includes things such as
right-click menus, toolbar menus, or the global menu bar.
Definitely seems more compiz-related than Unity.
