Public bug reported:

I'm seeing the problem described here:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/392282/kernel-3-12-with-nvidia-331-and-
nvidia-prime-does-not-load-unity-properly-in-ubu

However, I'm seeing it on a fresh install of Ubuntu Gnome 13.10, with
the stock 3.11.0-14-generic kernel but the nvidia-331 package from xorg-
edgers PPA. Prior to installing the nvidia-prime package, everything
worked correctly. After, gnome-settings-daemon refuses to run, with the
'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)' error noted on the linked
page.
