** Summary changed: - apt-get wants to autoremove lots of applications + apt-get wants to autoremove applications installed with gnome-app-install
** Description changed: Version: 0.6.45ubuntu7 when I use apt, it tells me that a lot of packages (152) are not needed any longer. Among them are xchat-gnome, mplayer, monodevelop, gazpacho, glom, abiword, gnumeric and a lot of games. I'd rather keep some of these :) I installed all of them with gnome-app-install, other than that I can't think of anything they have in common. + + [edit] I tested on my other edgy computer... Installed something with + g-a-i, ran "sudo apt-get install" and got told that the exact four + packages I installed were automatically installed and no longer required + :-/ -- apt-get wants to autoremove applications installed with gnome-app-install https://launchpad.net/bugs/59457 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
