Thanks a lot for caring about this bug, Jörg. I made a test on Debian 7 where debirf is also used in version 0.33 and the problem there is a dependency conflict after the xserver package is setup.
But as you mentioned in your comment. After your fix the problem is the following: Setting up gnupg (1.4.14-1ubuntu2.1) ... initctl: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
