I have a NP900X3C-A01FR also affected since 13.10. It was working like a charm on 13.04 (never notice the issue), but after a SSD remplacement and a full reinstall to 13.10 I'm also affected by this weard bug.
Adapter status is reported correctly, but not the battery status.
