Architecture i386 is too restrictive, and should be amd64 i386
sl-modem-daemon also supports the Smartlink slusb.ko driver compiled on
x86_64 systems.
It suffices that that the 32bit libraries be installed , to support the
sl-modem-daemon compiled on a 32 bit system and then functional on amd64
systems. 64 bit driver lsusb.ko is currently successful on 64 bit systema, per
below.
