Public bug reported:

Selected all xfs filesystems to install Edgy. The installer (incorrectly) 
complained that /boot could not be xfs.
changed it to ext3 and then must have redone my partitions? and ended with the 
default ext3. Didn't notice until mkfs was underway. After install, selected 
LiveCD instead of reboot and deleted/added partitions to be xfs (except the one 
that was to become /boot).

Got to prepare mount pont and installer failed with
