lamprakis, thank you for testing the latest mainline kernel. Did you
attempt to blacklist the drivers tifm_7xx1 and sdhci individually (not
at the same time) and see if this changes anything?
One may add a blacklist by executing the following in a terminal:
gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
and adding, saving, and restarting:
blacklist sdhci
