Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
I have a g4-based Mac Mini here which should support 802.11g speeds:
0001:10:12.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
Up until recently, I had an 802.11b network set up, and had not had a
chance to try the g speeds. I upgraded my dapper server's network
hardware from orinoco to atheros, and have been getting other 11g
devices to connect at 54mbps without any problem. The Mac Mini is the
only broadcom-based hardware I have, so I can't tell if it's a ppc
problem or a general driver problem.
The way I know that the device is connecting at 11 mbps is that network
manager is telling me this when I select "connection information"
