mario, as per http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=22&m=P5QPL-AM&os=30&hashedid=08c0CULpvP1ZM9kT an update is available for your BIOS (0416). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and just provide the output of the following terminal command: sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Thank you for your understanding. ** Tags added: bios-outdated-0416 ** Tags added: bot-stop-nagging ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - [System manufacturer System Product Name] suspend/resume failure [non-free: nvidia] + [Asus P5QPL-AM] suspend/resume failure [non-free: nvidia] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1163192 Title: [Asus P5QPL-AM] suspend/resume failure [non-free: nvidia] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1163192/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
