I can confirm that the patch fixes the problem that switching back from HD TV (dvb-s2) to non-HD channels received (dvb-s) did not work for me (conexant cx24116 or 118 chip, )
For compiling kaffeine sources from the KDE git repository on kubuntu 13.10 I needed to use qmake from qt4. Removing it would remove to many dependencies, so I added /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/bin to my PATH: export PATH=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/bin:$PATH before running cmake. I also installed VLC (libvlc-dev) as cmake stopped and complained about missing VLC. Finally I commented out the line with kWarning() << ... as I got an error message that kWarning was not declared in this scope. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241842 Title: scanning with dvb s/s2 card broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kaffeine/+bug/1241842/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
