Stéphane V, thank you for your comment. A WORKAROUND is not a solution, as it 
doesn't "just work" in a default install. As well, given that this bug is 
closed Fix Released, and you are not the original reporter, this report doesn't 
cover your problem. If you have a problem in Ubuntu, please feel free to file a 
new report with Ubuntu by executing the following in a terminal while booted 
into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux
