I just ran into this issue with Ubuntu 12.04, after using it for more than a year.
I have to say that it's very embarrassing to spend some time to find the root cause of an update manager crash due to full inode because of ancient linux headers. These files should be removed by the system on regular maintenance or at least suggested to the administrator when critical inode capacity detected. Worst, this issue has been reported more than a year ago. Since it's unresolved, I consider Ubuntu is still only for technical users. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1089195 Title: linux-headers will eat your inodes on LTS.
