I've same issue on fresh install, the list of additional drivers is empty and screen is full of garbage. I'm using nVidia GTX 580 on Z87 chipset motherboard, nothing is connected to intel card, only nvidia one is used. ubuntu-drivers log is attached.
Not sure that this is the right place to ask, but maybe someone knows if there is workaround for this issue? Having troubles with ubuntu install for 2 years now, primarily with screen lockup/garbage on it, even in install stage. ** Attachment added: "ubuntu-drivers.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-properties/+bug/1126234/+attachment/3941001/+files/ubuntu-drivers.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1126234 Title: Additional Drivers won't show option to install proper nvidia drivers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia/+bug/1126234/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
