Public bug reported:
I tried using live USB creator to create an Ubuntu 12.04 i386 Live USB
but firstly it couldn't format the drive. It returnd the following error
message:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible
causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message
bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the
network connection was broken.
While doing this my ram loaded until 50%, that is 1.6 GB of ram.
After this I tried to format the disc with another tool and tried to create the
LIve USB without formatting in the usb-creator. Immediately after clicking on
the "create" button it popped up with a failing massage, and then exited.
Furthermore it mad my ram fully loaded.
The same happened with amd64 version attempt.
