Public bug reported:
Just got a brand new Thinkpad T61P with all new hardware. None of nv,
nvidia-glx, or nvidia-glx-new support this (I didn't find out until I
checked the list of supported cards in
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/1.0-9755/README/appendix-a.html
and
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/100.14.11/README/appendix-a.html
The good news is that the restricted drivers manager doesn't attempt to
install the nvidia drivers, but nv is autodetected by xorg (I need vesa,
since nothing else works)
