Since the original screen-shot is broken, could you attach a new one please?
** Description changed: Binary package hint: plymouth The version I am using is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS final. This problem is coming from Beta 1 release, whenever I load the Ubuntu CD, it will display the plymouth splash (boot screen) perfectly. But as soon as I install the Ubuntu on my system and NVIDIA graphics installed on it, the resolution changes to 4 bit display. As I can see in coding, it ask for window.getresolution() some function, if value =4 then image=ubuntu-logo16.png else image =ubuntu-logo.png. So when I install nvidia graphics my resolution changes to 4 bit or so. and my boot screen become wider than normal . Please suggest the sollution. UPDATE: - Also affects Ubuntu 12.x and 13.x. Plymouth is not displayed properly (no fullscreen): - http://www.imagebanana.com/code/73qs2wpo/IMG_20130417_141344.jpg + Also affects Ubuntu 12.x and 13.x.
