Public bug reported:
I am using kernel 2.6.20-16, IPW2200 driver 1.2.1 patched with packet injection
and ieee802.11 1.2.18 on Ubuntu Feisty. When I try to connect to a network
using either gnome network manager or dhclient the kernel panics and the whole
system hangs.
The kernel panic only started to happen once I rebooted the computer after
installing the driver, e.g the driver worked fine with the new driver before I
restarted the computer. There are no logs what so ever regarding the actual
incident as the computer hangs hard.
