Anyway. Still, I ran gdb on the last core from the reporter -- did not get much, since I am running X64: Core was generated by `evolution --component=mail'. Program terminated with signal 6, Aborted. #0 0x00002b82e8dbfcab in ?? () So this was a SIGABRT, and the first core (the one Martin retraced) was about a SIGSEGV; the last core has only 3 threads running, while the first has 11... so, in other words, these are two completely different crashes.
