I still get this bug in Saucy, but not in an easily-reproducible form: after login, the touch pad works fine, but if I leave the machine unattended, then when I come back, and the screen saver has activated, then sometimes either a) the button does not work (on my Macbook Air, this is pressing the touchpad down), but the pointer still moves when I move my finger on the pad; or b) the touchpad does not work at all (moving my finger on it does not move the pointer).
In both cases, I can make the touchpad work again by switching to a text virtual terminal and then back to the X virtual terminal. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1018962 Title: After login mouse pointer does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1018962/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
