Binary package hint: ekiga
This is Ekiga 2.03 running under Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn
Ekiga had been working fine previously, but I installed alsamixer (which
I played about with and probably screwed up)
thereafter with alsamixer (and gamix) not running whenever I open ekiga
and self test (i get an apparent connection) I get no sound at all (but
sound card / speakers are working) and when I try to hang up/disconnect
or quit there is no response
Ekiga does not close but shows status sleeping under system monitor but
using 8% cpu
using stop / kill process works
Good luck fixing let me know If I can help at all
