I will try to update my Intel drivers too (if it's possible) and keep
you update.
Currently I have a similar bug (similar crash in pixman_region_copy)
that crashes Xorg.

Note: It does the same problem with .xls file too. And I had same random
issues (with same crash in pixman) opening odt file in Writer...
