The original problem was confirmed solved. Now the rest is a mess; these
are display adapter driver bugs. There's some ATI, some Intel and some
unknown here all mixed. They should each have their own bug reported.
If you still have problems please file a new one with more information
(lspci, xorg logs, software versions) - this is all impossible mess
otherwise.
