My latest theory on this is that it's the 3com drivers. I tried another 3com NIC (not the same model, slightly different) and while it initially worked (for torrenting etc), it failed after several hours. Interestingly, when I rebooted, it failed again almost immediately (somewhat shooting down my theory.) Is it perhaps possible that bad drivers are causing damage to the cards?
Or, maybe the second card I tested with was "bad" also? I will be trying a third NIC card when I can get my hands on one. -- networking dies under heavy load, unable to recover w/o reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132109 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
