I have the exact same problem with my installation.
I am using 7.04 fiesty on a 100% default installation. This was the
first thing i tried after installing ubuntu.
- Right click panel
- "Add to panel"
- Select Invest
- After added to panel, try to use the invest applet.
Result: The applet does not respond at all. I cannot right or left
click it and therefore i cannot (via the gui) remove it.

Status: Invalid => Confirmed
