@ Brian, That install had been heavily modified, most specifically adding 'gnome- session-flashback' and switching to 'lightdm' from 'gdm'. And the upgrade actually turned out OK other than having to perform a hard reset and running "apt-get -f install" to see what needed to be removed.
I'm almost tempted to call this invalid, but at the very least it should be a low priority .......... or maybe marked to expire if no one confirms???? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1271082 Title: Ubuntu GNOME Saucy -> Trusty upgrade ends in a black screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1271082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
