Jacob Hemstad, if you are saying the enablement stack doesn't work for whatever reason, that would be a bug in the stack, which you are welcome to report a bug against the stack package. The purpose of the enablement stack is to provide support (including x64) for folks who want to retain the 12.04 userspace, but benefit from device enablement from later kernels+X.Org versions.
