I'm not sure when exactly this behavior changed but in Precise if I open synaptic, type 'mozilla-plugin' into the Quick filter, scroll down to 'firefox-launchpad-plugin', and mark it for installation (or removal if installed) that window retains it's position. But in Trusty if I follow the same process that window springs back to the top after marking 'firefox-launchpad-plugin'.
It would be interesting to know if this behavior effects any other apps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1259725 Title: With gtk-3.10 synaptic will always return to the top of a scrollable window after any action on a package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synaptic/+bug/1259725/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
