That article is from February 2007 and the problem described therein may have 
been fixed already, as I'm unable to find an open bug report related to your 
problem. If you do find one, please change the bug number (remember to select 
"Samba Bugzilla"). If you don't please look into the DACL of the printer share 
to see if "Everyone" is listed and is effectively allowed. Other network 
security policies could restrict access as well. But we can't help you with 
that as we don't provide support for Vista. The official Windows Vista support
