Public bug reported:
protobuf 2.5.0-7ubuntu1 removed various symbols that (among other
things) libmirprotobuf, mumble, and libcompizconfig were referencing,
constituting an ABI break. 2.5.0-8 in Debian experimental reverts that
change in favour of a different approach. I'm merging that change, but
filing this bug to block it in trusty-proposed until it's had adequate
testing on the phone.
