Are you running xmir? It comes from the unity-system-compositor package, so you 
can check using:

dpkg-query --status unity-system-compositor

If this is the case, you can uninstall this package and KeePass should
work.

Also, if this is the case, we should close this bug as a duplicate of
bug #1247942
