Found an alternative - wdfs (http://noedler.de/projekte/wdfs/), which uses FUSE
for mounting too. Can be found on launchpad PPA's, or easy compiles with
checkinstall.
Using:
$ wdfs <DAV_URL> <MOUNT_POINT> -o username='<USERNAME>',password='<PASSWORD>'
