I can only reproduce this if I set "Unredirected Fullscreen windows" to
true in compizconfig-settings-manager (gconf:
/apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/unredirect_fullscreen_windows).
Can you please check that setting and let me know if you have set that?
And if the problem goes away if you unset it?
