Public bug reported:
The "printer configuration" gui does not accept my password or the root
password to make changes. I attempted to make a change under "Basic
Server Settings" and then apply it, and it prompted me for the password
for my user, but it does not accept it. The password is definitely
being entered correctly (I set my screen to lock fairly quickly and have
gotten quite used to inputting it).
