Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: subversion

Svn commit fails due to the libexpat library not being found. Issuing "svn
commit" works as normal until the part where the files are to be sent (i.e., it
asks for the commit message and password, but fails afterwards). It fails with
the message:
svnserve: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Connection closed unexpectedly
svn: Your commit message was left in a temporary file:

According to my logs, libexpat was updated today to version
1.95.8-3.4build1. I'm using subversion 1.4.3dfsg1-1ubuntu.

** Affects: subversion (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
