message:
(process:186): Pango-WARNING **: failed to choose a font, expect ugly output.

- Both of these computers have had Ubuntu installed before. The Qube had 10.04
for several years, and I was most happy with it. I only decided to upgrade as
it's no longer supported.
- I wish I hadn't bothered as it's been nothing but trouble ever since. I
liked 10.04, but Unity is horrible, I've tried 11, 12, 13 and now 14, and I'm
now considering moving away from Ubuntu.
- I've downgraded to 12.10, which is also no longer supported, but the most
recent version which will run successfully.
