I can confirm same problem and solution - missing device id's and USB3
incompatibility (very sporadic working) for HP ProBook 450 G1.
Kernel id patch and custom compiled kernel with disabled USB3 completely
resolves bluetooth problems.

Unfortunately from tomorrow i'll be mostly unable to test any changes,
since that computer goes away in production.
