Dear Brian,
thank you for your quick reaction on my error report.

Despite this bug Ubuntu and most of the programs are installed and running
well. The system keeps sending different error messages.
The only thing I am asking myself: is it possible that a lack of internal
memory in fact is the problem? The system has 1Gb internal memory.
