Hello and thank you for this bug report!
According to the stacktrace, I'm not sure that this bug is due to the dock. Yes
the dock should not call a function which provoke the crash because it's not
really needed to change the icon of the Impulse applet when disabling it but it
should not crash it.
Anyway, I'll remove the use of this function ASAP :-)
It will fix this specific bug but the real origin of this problem will maybe
not be fixed...
