Binary package hint: ubiquity
Please add UTF-8 support to all removable devices such as CDs, DVDs,
floppies, etc.
I've posted this bug for Dapper, and it has been partially fixed.
The fix is quite primitive. When 50fstab_removable_media_entries writes
an entry to fstab it fills up the fs options, i.e. for cdroms:
populate_media cdrom udf,iso9660 user,noauto $CDDEVICES
please change these lines to something like that:
populate_media cdrom udf,iso9660 user,noauto,utf8 $CDDEVICES
