Yes, The first time I have load the Xubuntu-12.4.03, but it didn't work, then I loaded the Ubuntu release 12.4.04, without formatting the USB. I used Unetbootin to prepare the USB drive. I can try to format the USB.
In any case yesterday evening I was able to load correctly ubuntu using the 13.10 release. With this release grub2 was correctly installed and the dual boot works. Thanks a lot !
