This bug happened after I did the most recent set of updates. Turned computer back on and had a login screen where I never had the login screen before. Only the login wouldn't log me in even after correct password was typed. I used Ctrl + Alt + F1 to go to terminal, installed gdm, made it the default, rebooted and was able to enter the o/s after logging in again. The error report showed the same byte size notice.
The answer page I used when I reserched this suggested a fault in the user wallpaper. I have changed back to an Ubuntu and am about to try reverting to lightgdm. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1275135 Title: apport-gtk crashed with struct.error in read32(): unpack requires a bytes object of length 4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1275135/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
