Your printer, the Brother DCP-330C, is neither explicitly supported
locally by Ubuntu, nor is it listed on the OpenPrinting web site. What
happened is that due to the missing local support system-config-printer
has searched on OpenPrinting and a bug in the search facility of the
OpenPrinting server made it answering the search with the Canon CP-330,
a completely different printer. I have fixed the server now so that the
search gives the correct, empty answer, lettin system-config-printer
pass on to manual model/driver selection.

Note that this prevents system-config-printer from hanging but does not
make your printer working. If your printer supports any standard
language (many laser printers do, but inkjets usually not), like PDF,
PostScript, PCL, ..., you can set up one of the "Generic" printers,
otherwise have a look at Brother's web site whether a Linux driver for
your printer is available.

** Changed in: system-config-printer (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1248303
   Regression: installing gutenprint printer driver fails
