This problem occurred when I first attempted to enable 'Additional Drivers' to enable use of the wireless card.
The driver Broadcom Corporation: AirPort Extreme Using Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from bcmwl-kernel-source(proprietary) seems to have caused the problem. I have not been able to replicate the issue. Enabled and disabled the driver multiple times without replication of the problem. Updated to mainstream kernel 3.13.5-031305-generic still no issues enabling and disabling said driver. This seems to have been a fluke. Currently wireless is working well, no repeated issues. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1287499 Title: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at (null) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1287499/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
