I agree with the previous comment, this bug seems to be slightly different to
1165420. Although it might be caused by the same issue, as it is pretty
similar!
As far as I can tell, or at least for me, HUD can only access the currently
focused window.
To be honest, if I need to access the active application's menu I use the
menus. It is much easier to find things that way. (prob because I can never
remember the name of the menu I'm looking for)
The only utility I found for HUD was to access network connections and VPNs in
Network Manager and some other things in the indicators.
With this bug/regression, HUD is not very useful for me.
It'd be great if it can be fixed!
