Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

I installed gutsy d-i i386 20070823. When I booted, I saw a
notification from restricted-manager saying that non-free drivers could
be enabled to better support my hardware.

I clicked on the notification icon and got a "Restricted Drivers" window
showing only one driver, lirc_gpio, enabled, but not in use.

It is unclear why the driver is listed here and what I might do about
it. In any case it's not offering me the opportunity to enable any
further restricted drivers even if I should want to.

Furthermore, there is no information available on what "lirc_gpio" is.
There should be some kind of descriptive text, ideally with some
discussion of the pros and cons of this particular driver compared to
free alternatives. (See also bug 134069.)

** Affects: restricted-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
