Public bug reported:

On two Ubuntu 12.04 installations I have noticed that there is a glitch
when rotating a cube to a new side.

When rotating to a new side a few frames of the old side are shown.
This is very apparent when the old and new side are very different. The
screen flashes. IMHO as a result the transitions looks buggy and crappy.

When the sides are identical the transition of course is smooth. This is
how I would expect it to look always. But of course the idea of the
sides is to have different content on them so why are we flashing a few
frames of the old side?

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
